About AutoCAD

AutoCAD stands for Automatic Computer Aided Design and Drafting. AutoCAD is a 2-D and 3-D computer-aided drafting software application useful for almost all designers. For example, in architecture, construction, and manufacturing to assist in the preparation of blueprints and other engineering plans.

There are different types of AutoCAD software’s available in the market, those are developed for specific fields. For example: AutoCAD Architecture for Architecture, AutoCAD Electrical for Electrical, AutoCAD Civil 3D for Civil constructions etc.,

In this lesson, you will learn to use the basic drawing tools as follows 1) To draw P oints, Lines, Rectangles, Circles, Ellipses, Arcs, Polygons, Polylines and Hatch tools. 2) To  use the Erase, Undo and Redo tools . 3) Draw entities using the absolute coordinate points. 4) Draw entities using the relative coordinate points. 5) Draw entities using the tracking  method .
